The challenge with this kind of section is that numbers and warmth don't naturally coexist. This one tries to make them.
What I Find Inspiring About This
Impact sections are usually one of two things: cold and credible, or warm and vague. Bold stats on a white background. Or lifestyle photography with no numbers in sight. Rarely both at once.
The background is doing the work here. The painterly texture pulls everything into the same register — the metrics don't feel like they've been dropped into a brochure, and the portraits don't feel disconnected from the data. The high-key softness of the photography matches the texture of the background closely enough that the whole section reads as a single designed surface rather than elements placed on top of each other.
The bold typography for the numbers has to stay confident through all of that softness — if it got too light or too refined, the section would lose its point. Hard numbers, soft world. That tension is what makes it hold.
