Web Design
Off grid project presentation
A clean, editorial-style project page for a Framer template, focusing on a raw visual documentation of a live music performance.

About
This is a page from Das Studio — my Framer template for designers, studios, and creative agencies, available on the Framer Marketplace.
The brief I gave myself: what does a project page look like when the work is the only thing that matters? No decorative elements, no UI flourishes. Just editorial layout, generous white space, and photography allowed to be raw.
The content here is a live music performance — grainy, high-contrast, the kind of image that doesn't want to be polished. The template had to hold that without fighting it.
What I Find Inspiring About This
Editorial web design is an interesting problem. Magazines figured out how to let photographs breathe decades ago — the web is still catching up.
What I wanted with this layout is that feeling you get from a well-designed print spread: the image arrives first, the text comes second, nothing competes. Minimal typography, lots of room, a grid that's felt but never seen.
The live music context made it click — there's something about raw documentary photography paired with clean Swiss-style layout that creates a tension I find really compelling. Rough subject, precise container.
If you're building a portfolio or studio site and want this exact feel — Das Studio is on the Framer Marketplace.
